Tony Field

Area of Practice: WebCenter Sites

Tony Field is the driving force behind our technical leadership in the web experience management sphere, and heads up our WEM consulting team and product development efforts.

With over 15 years of experience in working with WebCenter Sites, he has seen a vast range of solutions and integrations. Tony began his career in technical support and then spent six years on the engineering team for Sites before moving into professional services working in the best practices group at FatWire for four years before going independent to lead an extremely talented team of Sites ninjas. This wide perspective has provided Tony with insights into what makes WebCenter Sites deployments successful that are without equal.

These insights are put to use on all of Function1's Sites projects. Tony supervises all architectural decisions made by our trusted team, and works directly with clients to ensure that they are able to build and manage the most compelling web solution for their customers in a way that best leverages their team, technology, and our team to the of their advantage.

He is passionate about and devoted to empowering people to work efficiently and effectively, and together with the Function1 team, is proud of the work we do every day.

Tony lives in Toronto, Canada with his wife and three children. He is a devoted husband, proud father, avid downhill skier and plays trumpet in a concert band. He loves to inspire leaders and facilitate communication. This has led him to step onto the boards of a few educational and cultural non-profit organizations that he has worked with over the years.

Coffee, tea, wine, roast turkey, spaghetti and chocolate are the only food he needs (though not all at once). Someday, Tony hopes to get enough sleep and perhaps paint the shed.
